The INNOV8 community
As South Africa's premier high-tech and knowledge-intensive community network, INNOV8 members participate in an influential network of knowledge economy role players, including academics, researchers, investors, financiers, business professionals and entrepreneurs. Pub@Hub networking sessions
These business networking evenings bring together, in an informal setting conducive to interaction, role players who control public investment funds and private investment capital with those involved in generating new ideas and patents. The events create opportunities for collaboration with local and international industry leaders and knowledge sector decision makers and provide a focal point for the commercialisation of new technologies, seeding of high-growth companies and speeding up the flow of cutting-edge ideas about markets, products, services and processes among members of the INNOV8 community.
P•O•W•E•R breakfasts
This series of working breakfasts brings together a smallish group of decision makers in an interactive setting to exchange information and identify promising emerging ideas and technologies. The aim is to strengthen links between business and funding agencies. It enables technology-orientated innovators and entrepreneurs to interact with an influential network of seasoned professionals, potential investors and financiers, while technology-rich companies of all sizes to benefit from the combined talents of many.
